RMCC recommends that either Chrome or Firefox be used to view Moodle content.  Both browsers are free and available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and a number of mobile platforms.

After the recent Moodle upgrade, some users of Internet Explorer (IE) on Windows have reported broken page layouts (everything jumbled up on the page).  This occurs when IE is displaying Moodle in compatibility view.  To disable compatibility view, follow the steps below.

1. While IE is the selected window, tap the [Alt] key.

2.  Click the Help menu, and select "About Internet Explorer".  Note which version of IE is being used.

3.  Back on the menu bar, click the Tools menu.

a. If using IE versions 8, 9, or 10, make sure that there is no checkmark next to the "Compatibility View" menu item.

b. If using IE version 11, select the "Compatibility View Settings" menu item.  In the resulting pop-up window, make sure that is not in the list of websites configured for Compatibility View.  If so, select "" and click "Remove".
